On 13th December 2107 at Akanu Ibiam Airport, The Ethiopian Airline landed and just as usual, up to four Ambulances were set on queue ready to carry corpse (of dream filled, highly intellect, over zealous citizens) who left their families, Loved ones, Friends and well-wishers to look for greener pastures in the Lion’s Den.
Hmmm, why won’t the pasture be greener, since the Lion doesn’t eat grass… I began to ask myself the following questions:
- Was this part of the big picture they sought for?
- Was this the Abroad they longed for?
- Is this the Greener pasture they’ve gone for?
- Assuming they were the only issue of their parents, how happy will their parents be seeing them lying in a box?
My heart sobers for them that didn’t knew they were blind.
My heart sobers not only for the abroad victims but also for their Parents, Loved ones, and Friends they left behind.
The Truth is Abroad is neither heaven, nor paradise, nor world of roses. Abroad is just a well regulated place or city, nothing much.
Abroad is just like a seminary school in Nigeria, where there is restrictions and organized mode of
Living, Transportation and payment. I would term it a Seminary school to help you understand.
Some myopic people think they will go there and perform some magic and carry huge sums of money, come back and settle down. But its not true.
- Many went there and were deported, out of zealousness they followed through the desert using legs and died on the way.
- Some made it to their dream country and joined the wolves and were killed and boxed back to their country.
- Some made it to their dream country and joined some people who claim to be their brothers from same country and were used for sacrifice to complement their success. They killed them and sold their kidneys and other body parts.
- Some were defrauded in the process of getting Visa.
- Some made it to their dream countries and sign a twenty years contract before liberty, which is prostitution and all matter of nasty jobs.
- Some made it to the country they loved and were became prisoners by facing excruciating allegations.
Why not put our heads together and dream the same dream…
A Nigeria rat can never become an American Crocodile, Its not in the Place you are… It’s the function of your head.
The Life you want to live is in your head, the Car you want to drive is in head.
The wife you want to marry is in your head.
We should clear this Misconception that Abroad is a World of ‘Ego mbute’
When I planned to travel to U.S. I was warned to go with 2 sets of toothbrush, 2 new barbing clips, 2 rolls of towels, my Mum ground all sort of condiments for cooking… wow, This is amazing, b’cos this is exact what my Mum did when I wanted to travel to boarding school… If the Abroad is a world of ‘Ego mbute’ why stress myself buying all these sorts. Cant I go and buy it over there?.
Then how do I make the billions I dream of since a bottle of water is $5.00 - (#1,800).. because I will still buy water, eat food, take my bathe, buy Tissues, pay for transport and other utility bills, no human being will survive without water, even if you a superhuman.
Recommendations
Make much money before travelling so as to live comfortably before getting a job.
The truth is that, go to abroad to hustle is ridiculous to the white man due to the Past record of the blacks, Some were given the opportunity and they painted it black, producing a bad name for us.
That’s why going to Abroad to hustle/as a poor man tends to be difficult, sometimes a little issue can depot you back to your station.
- Sit down and think deep
- Generate a simple idea (idea rules the world).
- Work on it
- Give in time and be dedicated
- Then you will your world blossom...
